We are Sarah & Joy, the creative minds behind Movers and Shapers!

Joy, on the right, is the owner of the Potting Shed Studio in Everton, Doncaster. With over 30 years of experience in ceramics, including teaching.

Sarah, on the left, embarked on her pottery journey at the Potting Shed Studio in early 2023 and has been passionate about clay ever since! She has been a civil engineer for more than 20 years. 

After searching for pottery tools to enhance her skills but failing to find what she needed, Sarah knew that she needed to create a range of tools. After realising that they both felt the same, Sarah and Joy teamed up to design a range of tools. With Joy's expertise in ceramics and Sarah's in design and engineering, we have been able to create a range of tools that we adore and are eager to share with you! 

Sarah now teaches new members at the Potting Shed and we have our full range of Tools available in-house for those of you who are local to us. Keep your eye out for tool workshops too!
